11/6/07 "Team": Throughout scripture we see different teams being used by God. From the first team of Adam and Eve, Noah and his family, David and the Israelites, to the team of Jesus and His disciples. Each one of the teams in the Bible had the following characteristics:
Unity: Working as one unit
Prayer: Let your requests be made known to God. (Phil 4:6)
Interaction: Involve others.
Trust: reliance on one another and ultimately in God. (Prov 3:5)
Ephesians 4:25 (NIV)
25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body.
